Dear Highlands Neighbors

Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!

This week’s posting by Noah Coleman marks the first anniversary of Hearts in the Highlands on the HCA website. The Editorial Board (Anne Cornell, Peg Hambrick, Gary Miller, and I) wish to thank all of our contributors (Sharon Rovansek, John and Sandra Wyngaard, Nikki Crowley, Louise Ulinski, Susan Rogers, Lee Stout, Benjamin Rowles, Megan Fleming, Mark Lafer, Noah Coleman, and our own Gary Miller and Anne Cornell) along with Jeanne Spicer, who handles the technical ends of things by seeing that each piece gets posted to the Web on schedule.

We hope that you have enjoyed these postings and have come to a fuller appreciation of all that the Highlands offers—its history, its homes, its civic and religious organizations, and the people who have chosen to make the Highlands their home or have once lived amongst us. Thank you for the feedback we have received and for forwarding to others pieces you have read. Our goal is to maintain an online file of all our postings, so that, if you ever want to revisit an article or missed one, they will still be there for you to enjoy.

There is much more that can we can publish, and we hope to continue in the tradition that has been established. If, though, you have ideas for articles, please let us know. And if any neighbors would like to write for Hearts in the Highlands, your contributions are welcome. Likewise, should you know others who might want to contribute, please let us know. We promise a quick turnaround to posting and a byline as well.

Sincerely,
Eric White
